The peach and plum trees in our garden burst out of their winter slumber with a fine show of pink and white blossoms every Spring.
In fact the blossoms are so abundant that it's difficult taking photos without a background cluttered by branches, leaves, and blooms.
Using an image-stabilized telephoto lens, I was able to isolate this cluster of white plum blossoms against an almost black background.
To darken the background and retain detail in the petals, I under-exposed slightly.
