While wandering the garden with camera and telephoto lens in hand hoping for birds to photograph, this beautiful, orange rose with its curving petals caught my eye.
To the rose connoisseur, it may well be past its prime in this fully-opened state but, for me, it was just asking to be photographed. In the absense of feathered subjects, I was happy to oblige.
Unfortunately I'm not a gardener, so have no idea of its common or botanical name. Anyone?
