Location: The Kruger National Park, established in 1898, is South Africa's premier
game reserve and offers aa Africa safari experience that ranks with the
best on the continent. Covering nearly 2 million
hectares, the park is home to an outstanding array of flora and
fauna, including 507 different birds and 147 types of mammal.
Kruger Park is mainly a self-drive destination with a good infrastructure
of roads, picnic sites, and restcamps. Accommodation options
range from budget camp sites to luxury private safari lodges.
