Cheetah on the Prowl

Cheetah hunt primarily during daylight hours (and also by moonlight) as they rely on their vision rather than sense of smell to detect prey.
The above photo, showing a cheetah apparently on a mission, was taken as the cat moved through open ground. It was winter and the area was stark brown with no vegetation.
For this reason I decided to convert the image to black and white as this places all emphasis on the animal, its shape, and posture.
