I feel like a bear emerging from hibernation - it's been that long since I was last able to devote some time to this site.
Other projects, other commitments, have drained all my free time in the past few months.
But it's time to start afresh and I'm pleased to say that I've now added a new page devoted
specifically to leopard pictures. This is largely thanks to the Meintjes family,
who have kindly offered me the use of their library of wildlife pictures taken over many visits to South Africa's Kruger National Park.
So I say: "Baie dankie Arno en familie!" (that's "thank you" in Afrikaans). I hope soon to add more pictures
taken by the Meintjes family.
The wildlife stock pictures page has been updated with the addition of two new images - elephants at a
waterhole and a brightly-coloured Red Bishop - that can be downloaded and used royalty-free.
For anyone who needs a large collection of royalty-free images, I am still offering the
200-picture CD
(low-res images suitable for web sites, screen presentations, educational projects) for $19.99.
The 50 and 100-picture CDs are no longer available as there was no demand.
The Hi-Res CD has also been with withdrawn. I am now offering individual images for download - on
Photogateway.com - at prices from $25 to $125, so I could not at the same time offer similar images on a CD that was selling for less than $20.
Tomorrow I head off, with a group of friends, to Zambia via Botswana. We're going to be based in the Lower Zambezi
National Park, doing some canoeing on the mighty Zambezi River, plus game viewing on foot and in safari vehicles.
We'll come back through Botswana, spending a couple of nights either in Chobe or Moremi, depending on availability of accommodation.
So here's hoping I'll return with some good photographs and even better memories.
